Ga O Nosi ("You are Never Alone" in the Tswana language) is a newly established front-line service being introduced by Root and Branch Change in Munsieville township, South Africa, aiming to achieve significant reductions in unplanned and unwelcome pregnancy in teenage and pre-teenage girls, and to transform the life chances of those affected.

This is a complex issue with no quick and easy fixes. It leads to trans-generational poverty and despair and is often caused by rape, coercion, trafficking and deeply embedded cultural distortions that result in children being abused, neglected and abandoned.

Our aim is to harness the energy of committed local and international partners to develop a model of excellence in the care and support of children and young people impacted by this widespread crisis; the rescue of babies who are abandoned because of it; and the development of dynamic and effective prevention strategies that lead to radically changed lives that demonstrate the power of the good news of Jesus Christ.
